Measurements and studio choices
Measurement fields, avatar finish, colour, silhouette and styling intention are processed in your browser. If you select “Keep on this device”, those choices are stored in your browser’s local storage. They are not added to the early-access database. “Clear my data” removes the saved local profile.
Private AI styling notes
When you tick the consent box and request an AI note, the browser converts the current measurements into broad relationships such as “balanced”, “gently defined” or “longer-leg line”. It sends those relationships, the selected silhouette, colour family and styling intention to our secure server. Exact measurements and your email address are not included.
The server sends that limited summary to OpenAI to generate the note and requests that the API response is not stored as application state. Virtual Style Lab does not add the request or response to its database. Routine security logs may still be processed by our hosting and AI service providers.
Early-access list
If you request early access, we store your email address, consent time and the source “website” in our private database. We use that information only for Virtual Style Lab launch updates and testing invitations. We do not sell it or add it to retailer advertising profiles.
Cookies and technical records
The signup and AI endpoints use short-lived, strictly necessary session cookies to limit repeated automated requests. Our hosting provider may process routine records such as IP address, browser details and request time for security and reliability. We do not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
Retention and choices
Local studio data remains until you clear it or your browser storage. Early-access records remain until you unsubscribe, ask for deletion or the launch list is retired. You can use the interactive studio without joining the email list or requesting an AI note.

We will update this page when the product’s data practices change. Material changes will be explained before a new data feature is used.
